Jeffrey Dailey

Jeffrey Dailey’s career in the insurance industry spans more than four decades, including more than 25 years as an executive leader. He joined Verisk’s board in 2022.

Mr. Dailey held the position of CEO and chairman of Farmers Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group, from 2012 until his retirement at the end of 2022. He joined Farmers with their 2007 acquisition of Bristol West Holdings, where he served as CEO.

At Farmers, he spearheaded the company’s transformation to a customer-centric, innovation-focused organization and led the recent acquisition and integration of MetLife’s property and casualty business.

Mr. Dailey was also CEO of Reliant Insurance, a company he founded which was acquired by Bristol West Holdings, and previously held various senior executive roles at Progressive Corporation.

He holds an MBA and a BS in economics, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Mr. Dailey serves on the board of Liberty Mutual Insurance. He previously served as a board member of The Institutes, a leading provider of education and research on risk management and insurance.
